Anti-smart meter bill filed in Arkansas

February 20, 2013An anti-smart meter bill has been filed in Arkansas by Rep. Denny Altes.

“The bill would allow anyone to opt out of the installation of a smart meter. Several local governments are passing smart meters as part of UN Agenda 21.

This Big Brother device allows governments to monitor how much electricity you use and with what. The regular electric meters are replaced, often by secret or by force, with meters that emit radio frequencies to government/UN/unknown Agencies.” (They also cause major health problems.)

The main part of the bill reads as follows:

Arkansas Code § 23-3-405(a), concerning the authority of the Arkansas Public Service Commission, is amended to add an additional  subdivision to read as follows:
(4)(A) A utility company shall implement a procedure approved by the commission that allows a consumer to refuse installation of a smart meter gateway device at the consumer’s residence or business.
(B) If a consumer refuses the installation of a smart meter gateway device at the consumer’s residence or business as provided under subdivision (a)(4)(A) of this section, the consumer is not required to pay an additional fee to the utility company or incur any additional cost for the refusal.

HELP!!!! Did this bill pass. Two years ago we had a smart meter put on .The electric company said they were putting in because we have dogs (who have never tried to bite anyone. ) I have had symptoms. Called to have meter removed and was told they couldn’t and there was nothing I could do about it. We didn’t know about the dangers and they don’t want us to know
